  • 1973 - 1977 Apprenticeship at the State Porcelain Manufactory in Meissen

  • 1975-1978 Evening course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden
  • 1978-1983 Full-time course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden, sculpture department, degree obtained under Professor Gert Jäger
  • 1983 Degree in sculpture
  • 1986 Admitted to the Association of Visual Artists in East Germany
  • 1983-2011 Work at the State Porcelain Manufactory in Meissen in the "new artistic development" department
  • Fields of work: product development, murals, jewellery, spatial sculptures, figure developments for tables, medal development work, unique items, work on service complexes like "Fabula" and the "Wellenspiel" pool
  • 1993 Member of the German Society of Medal Design
  • Working as a free-lance graduate sculptor since 2012
